Speaking on the housing loan facility, according to Encik Akhsan Zaini, Senior Vice President / Head, Distribution BSN “There are quite a number of challenges faced by our youth today especially to those first home buyers when it comes to purchasing properties. The main is their ability to pay the initial 10% deposit. This is where our Youth Housing Scheme (YHS) comes in handy as it helps the young buyers (married or single) with their first property purchase.

Our collaboration with REHDA Negeri Sembilan is another milestone in our effort to help make homes more affordable to first time buyers. YHS is open to the first 20,000 qualified applicants on a first-come-first-served basis. Do visit our nearest branches or meet our sales executives as they are ever ready to assist you with your loan submission. Thus, grab this opportunity before it ends,” he added.

Offered both in Conventional and Islamic Home Financing up to 100% of the purchase price and, further aid is also offered by the Government with monthly loan subsidize of RM200 per month for the first two (2) years to help them with their loan repayments.

To enhance first home buyers’ affordability, government has recently introduced several policies under the 2017 Budget to promote affordable home ownership for the right target groups. These include building more affordable homes through its various property development companies, and a full stamp duty exemption for first-time home buyers on houses costing up to RM300,000.00.
