KUALA LUMPUR, 8 September 2015 - Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) today signed a five (5) year service agreement for the new Converged Network Transformation Project in which TM will be delivering Wide Area Network (WAN) services connecting 413 BSN branches nationwide. The new services provided by TM will cover both connectivity and managed ICT services, offering BSN end-to-end managed services for their banking operations.

In addition to the WAN services, TM is also supporting BSN’s Telepresence infrastructure with TM Telepresence Exchange Services, delivering High Definition (HD) quality videos which enable meetings via video conference between BSN headquarters and its branches nationwide to be conducted more efficiently.

Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM and Wan Ahmad Kamal Wan Halim, Executive Vice President, TM Enterprise Business signed the agreement on behalf of TM while BSN was represented by Datuk Adinan Maning, its Chief Executive and Siew Kin Meng, Deputy Chief Executive of Corporate Support.

Commenting on the collaboration, Tan Sri Zamzamzairani said, “The converged network is specially developed to enhance BSN customers’ experience, befitting our position as Malaysia’s Convergence Champion. Furthermore, with the end-to-end Managed ICT Services provided by TM, BSN will be able to focus more on its core business, thus further improving BSN’s operational efficiencies and enriching the overall experience enjoyed by the community it serves.”
